Gametraders Chermside offers the option to refund provided you meet our return conditions and the statutory rights guidelines as set by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC). For more information follow this link

If you have met all requirements and conditions as outlined above our customer service team will process your refund and notify you via once this has been processed.

Change of Mind

We understand things happen. If you have changed your mind and no longer require an item ordered online you may request a refund prior to the item shipping. Change of mind refunds are not available after the item has shipped.

For purchases made instore we may offer you a change of mind return provided that:

  • The return is made within 30 days of purchase
  • You are able to provide satisfactory proof of purchase (see below)
  • The merchandise is in saleable condition, that is it is unworn or unused with all original sealed packaging or tags attached and where the product seal is not broken or tampered.

Refunds or exchanges must be accompanied by any one of the following proof of purchase documents for change of mind:

  • Original register receipt tax invoice (electronic or photograph will be accepted).
  • Online Tax Invoice (order confirmations will not be accepted).
  • Original return/exchange receipt/gift receipt.

Please note that our team members are not responsible for proving your purchase. You must supply the proof of purchase, which our team members can validate.

Refunds for change of mind will attract a processing fee as outlined below depending on the way you paid for your order. This is the same fee we are charged by our payment partners for providing you with your refund.

For Instore Purchases:

Credit Card: 0%     Paypal: 2.6%     Afterpay: 6%     ZipPay: 5%

For Online Purchases:

Credit Card: 2%     Paypal: 4.6%     Afterpay: 8%     ZipPay: 7% 

 

Click & Collects | Lay-buys

Please note our refund/returns policy also applies to Click & Collect orders and in-store Lay-buys. If you fail to collect your order in a reasonable amount of time and do not respond to our reminder or cancellation warning emails, the amount paid will be turned into Store Credit. Alternatively, if you wish to refund the money you will need to do so in-store but be aware this will attract a processing fee just as a refund for change of mind would. 

Refund Payment

Any refunds will be processed via the original form of payment in the same currency at the current exchange rate. Gametraders Chermside will not be liable for any movement in exchange rates.

Credit Cards : Payment will be made to the exact same credit card that was used for payment. It can take up to 30 days for the refund to show up on the card.

In the event of your card expiring or being cancelled, the refund will need to be made through Bank Transfer. Gametraders Chermside can not refund money onto a different credit card.

Paypal: Payments will be refunded into a Paypal account if that was the original form of payment.

By Now Pay Later: Refunds are processed by us through the relevant payment provider who then issue the refund directly to you.

Returns/Refund Process Time

Returns generally take 2-5 business days to reach our store. Once received, your return request will be processed within 1-3 business days. For refunds, please note that your financial institution may need an extra 3-5 business days to clear the funds back into your account.

If Your Item Is Faulty

We aim to provide our customers with products of the highest standard and quality. If you have received an item with a defect, please contact Gametraders Chermside within 30 days. They will guide you through the returns process and help resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We also request that you take a photo showing the defect/fault to speed up the process and ensure you receive the correct replacement part. Please note imperfections in product packaging or variations to products that are hand made/finished are not considered defects or faults.

If You Received An Item You Didn't Order

If you have received an item different to the one you ordered, please contact Gametraders Chermside who will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
